Your rides are personal, and so is the data behind them. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the control you have over it. Moveee is private by design — we never sell your data, and we never share it with advertisers.
1. Who we are
Fokus Labs OÜ ("Moveee", "we", "us") is a company registered in Estonia (registry code 16378504, VAT EE102560833), with its registered office at Sepapaja 6, Tallinn 15551, Estonia. We are the data controller responsible for the personal data described here. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at support@moveee.app.
2. What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text), and whether your email is verified.
- Profile & training preferences — your FTP, weight, experience level, weekly hours, training days, long-ride days, and how many rides a day you do.
- Location — a home location (coordinates and city) that you set, used to show local weather and shape routes. We may also derive an approximate location from your IP address to look up place names.
- Ride & fitness data — the activities you connect or upload: power, heart rate, cadence, GPS tracks, distance and timestamps; the fitness figures we calculate from them (such as fitness, fatigue and form, and your power curve); and any ride check-ins you record.
- Connected-account access — the authorisation tokens for services you link (for example Strava or Garmin), so we can import your rides. You can revoke these at any time.
- Usage & device data — basic information such as page views, sign-ins, IP address and browser type, which we use to run and secure the Service. This stays with us — it is not sold or shared for advertising.
- Billing data (future) — Moveee is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, payments will be handled by a specialist payment provider; we would receive confirmation of your subscription but not your full card details.
Some of this — for example heart rate, weight and fitness metrics — may be considered health-related information. We process it only to provide the training features you ask for, on the basis of your consent, and you can withdraw that consent by deleting the data or your account.
3. How and why we use your data
We only use your data for clear reasons, each with a legal basis under the GDPR:
- To provide the Service — building your profile, plans, routes and coaching guidance (performance of our contract with you).
- To keep Moveee secure and prevent abuse, and to understand and improve how the product is used (our legitimate interests).
- To communicate with you about your account and important changes (contract / legitimate interests).
- To process health-related and optional data (such as marketing emails, if we ever send them) only with your consent — which you can withdraw at any time.
4. AI coaching features
Some of Moveee's coaching guidance is written with the help of a third-party AI provider (OpenAI). When these features run, we send OpenAI the training information needed to produce the text — such as your fitness figures, the structure of your plan, and summary statistics of recent rides (their dates, load and intensity). We do not send your name, email, or precise GPS tracks for this purpose. Under OpenAI's API terms, this data is not used to train their models.
Your training plan is created by our own engine; the AI only refines wording and suggestions within limits we set, and the features work with the AI switched off. Plans and recommendations are generated automatically but have no legal or similarly significant effect on you — you are always free to adjust or ignore any suggestion.
5. Sharing and processors
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers who help us run Moveee, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions:
- Hosting & infrastructure — our servers are hosted with Hetzner in Germany (EU).
- AI provider — OpenAI, for the coaching features described in section 4.
- Weather & maps — Open-Meteo and OpenStreetMap (Nominatim), to provide forecasts, geocoding and routing based on location.
- Connected platforms you choose — such as Strava or Garmin, which send us your data according to the access you authorise.
- Email delivery — to send account and verification emails.
- Fonts — some pages load web fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address to serve them.
6. Third-party connections
When you connect Strava or a head unit, we receive data from them according to the access you authorise. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies. You can disconnect any service at any time in your settings, which stops further imports.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period — except where we are required to keep certain records by law (for example, tax records once billing exists).
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and withdraw any consent you have given. Contact us at support@moveee.app to exercise these rights. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority — either your local one, or ours in Estonia, the Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data — including hashed passwords and protected access tokens for connected services. No system is perfectly secure, but keeping your information safe is a priority we take seriously.
10. International transfers
Most of your data stays within the European Economic Area. Some providers — notably our AI provider — process data in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
11. Children
Moveee is not intended for children. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service.
