The Moveee team
Free coaching · a real route for every ride
Elite makes some of the best-value smart trainers going — the Suito, Direto and Justo are workhorses. And like every modern smart trainer, they speak open, standard protocols, which means they aren't tied to any one app or subscription. If you want a free app for your Elite smart trainer that runs in your browser, here's how it works.
Which Elite trainers this works with
Elite Justo / Justo 2
Direct-drive. Full FE-C/FTMS control and ERG.
Elite Direto / Direto XR / X / XR-T
Direct-drive. Controls resistance and holds ERG.
Elite Suito / Suito-T
Direct-drive. Pairs and takes resistance commands over Bluetooth.
Elite Nero / Tuo / Novo Smart
Interactive rollers / wheel-on. Controllable via standard protocols.
If your Elite trainer works with Elite's own app or with Zwift, it broadcasts the standard Bluetooth control any modern trainer app can use.
What a good free Elite app should do
- Control resistance — the trainer gets harder on climbs, easier on descents.
- Hold ERG targets — set a wattage and the Elite keeps you there through the interval.
- Record everything — power, cadence, speed and heart rate for the whole ride.
- Export cleanly — the finished ride lands on Strava and in your training log.
A free, browser-based Elite app with real roads
Moveee Indoor does all four and adds real roads. It runs entirely in a browser tab — Chrome or Edge, nothing to install — pairs your Elite over Bluetooth in one click, and rebuilds your own saved routes in 3D from real OpenStreetMap and elevation data. The real gradient drives your Elite's resistance, ERG holds your intervals, and rides save with full power data to your Moveee plan and Strava. It's free while in alpha.
It's young and there's no racing scene yet — but if you just want a clean, free way to ride the Elite trainer you already own, without a subscription, it's about as direct as it gets.
